Above are my current picks for a Canon camera low-cost lineup. Get the camera body only. The kit lens that
comes with the camera is a cheep waste of money.
Canon T1i because it is the next step past the XSi which is a great camera but the T1i will give more flexibility in post
shoot editing and ISO handling (it is only around $100 more as well)
Sigma Lenses because they are just less expensive than Canon's lineup... the above are the most popular because of
functionality (don't let someone sell you a cheaper sigma lens, you do get what you pay for)
Opteka Batery Grip $80 for the grip and the batteries plus charger... no brainer
Canon 50mm F1.8 II cheep way to see just how great your images can get...
